Brian Meadows principal of Nofix-Nofee Computer Services began working with computers in 1982 as part of a team who manufactured and promoted a silent salesman system to the motor trade. These machines operated on a bubble memory, a simple chip device which used an external magnetic tape boot procedure at start up. Today such machines use an internal boot manager called flash memorys and can be found in electronic tills, televisions, radios, mobile phones and many other devices.
Since that time there have been enormous change in the Computing world, not least the revolution of windows, email, the world wide web, cloud computing and much more.
Notwithstanding this change and development, we have continually improved our knowledge and skills in keeping with these developments and can provide our customers with a wide ranging knowledge of Microsofts systems and a no nonsense, low cost repair service.
Our philosophy
Our philosophy is simple;
If we can't repair your computer, we will not charge for our time!
We will tell you before we commence any repair, if the machine is worth repairing!
If in the event the proposed repair exceeds the value of the machine, we offer a lower cost data retrieval solution!
We will visit to your home or office to action a repair
We do not have a callout charge, but may make a mileage charge to outlying or distant areas
If a repair is complex we will repair your computer in our workshop and return it without extra charge
Our repairs charges start from £30 plus cost of parts (if required)
We offer a no obligation estimate of costs before commencing a repair
All our refurbished and upgraded computers carry a 3 month warranty
We do not charge VAT on any of our services!
Our location
We are based in Briderule, North Devon and service all locations in both North Devon and North Cornwall
We will attempt to callout the same day to most areas, or the next day where time or logitics make it otherwise impracticable.
Should a customer, based at a distance location, request a visit we will agree a mileage charge in advance of the visit.
